Is Hernandez the best (still in their prime) player we've ever signed?
I'm racking my brain trying to think of a better one. Obviously in the past we've signed the likes of Jimmy Greaves, even Paulo Futre who were well past their prime.

In terms of pedigree, trophies won, international recognition, international record (Mexico's top all-time scorer) I can't think of anyone to rival Chicharito.

I'm horny.

We paid a world record fee for a goalkeeper...twice.

£56k for Bobby Ferguson
£556k for Phil Parkes

One a legend, the other a Scottish goalkeeper !

Once Chico plays a full season, he'll have officially been to more West Ham games than you, Sold0.

I think Blunders needs to get the baby oil out … and probably half a roll of Kleenex by the sounds of it…

That Crew game, Ashton practically took us apart with two goals, we held on 2-3 though

He was there last night. They have had to his and Anautovic's pics there because the athletics is on at the OS.

ASHTON?!

He'd played for Crewe fucking Alexandra and Norwich.

He didn't even have 1 single England cap before we bought him. Hernandez is Mexico's top ever goalscorer.

You lot are seriously failing to grasp the question.

I'm sure Tevez was Brazilian player of the year a few times before he came to us. I think he was literally the best young player in south america when we signed him. Thats why it was so weird. Normally those guys go to Madrid, Inter or Barca.

Hernandez is a great player but Payet was different gravy. The best player we have ever had. In terms of skill and performance whilst with us.

Even when he played for France in the Euro's he was better than 100m Pogba for them. Between him and Greizman, they were the best players in the french team.

It's strange but I dont think many middling yo-yo clubs have ever had talent of the quality of Payet or Tevez in their clubs. Kind of unheard of really.

What about David 'Psycho' Cross? or 'Pop' Robson? both banged in a few for us.

Sulli reckons he's potentially the best ever to come to the club, so it must be true. good thing he's not overstating it.

"I think, potentially, he is the best player that's ever come to the club," Sullivan told Talksport.

No, yet to prove he is better than Di Canio, Ashton, Tevez, Devonshire and Parkes for us. Hopefully he will be at least as good for us as they were though.
